Top 10 things to know about citing NIH grants, like the CTSA grant

With the announcement in April that CTSI had received more than $42.6 million over five years in renewed National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding through the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences’ Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) program, this is a perfect time to share the top 10 things to know about NIH grant citations and related federal policy compliance requirements.

    The National Institutes of Health (NIH) requires all federally funded research to include an acknowledgement of NIH award support and a disclaimer. Therefore, the University of Minnesota Clinical and Translational Science Institute is required to ensure an acknowledgement of the CTSA grant is included in any publication, press release, or poster that result from CTSI assistance or support.
